Yes. We meet and in most cases exceed the quality of the oils which are labeled “therapeutic grade”; however, there really is no such thing. “Therapeutic Grade” is a marketing term invented about 20 years ago by one company who was trying to convince customers that their oils met a certain standard which others did not. The problem is that the standard was set by that company and no third party testing was involved. Unfortunately, the advertising campaign worked as consumers began to believe that the term was meaningful, so pretty much every other essential oil company began using the arbitrary term. Many companies currently using the term "therapeutic grade" have been proven through chemical analysis to be offering 100% synthetic oils with no therapeutic value.
The only way to know the quality of one brand’s oil over another is through GC/MS testing and aroma comparison.
